Michael E. Debakey VA medical center

Performed repairs to York chillers. Removed and replaced sump pumps. Cleaned AHUs, supply and return duct work. Michoud Assembly Facility is a world-class manufacturing facility providing vital support to NASA exploration and discovery missions. Michoud is NASA-owned and managed for the agency by the Marshall Space Flight Center. Michoud’s capabilities include the manufacture and assembly of critical hardware components for exploration vehicles under development at Marshall and other NASA centers.

Cleaned the HVAC ductwork, diffusers/registers, exhaust hoods, kitchen hood systems, adjoining ducts, and all equipment related to the exhaust system. The first phase was completed in 12 months for an active hospital of 1,600,000 square feet. We are currently working on year 3 of this contract. This is one of the departments largest hospitals and sits on 118 acres.

US Army corps of engineers (USACE)

Cleaned the HVAC AHU equipment, including the supply, intake and return ductwork, air handlers, registers, grills, fans, motors, housings, and coils of the HVAC system. Utilized asbestos containment. Tested waste for any ACM. Fabricated and installed plenums and ductwork. This project included eight locations throughout Oklahoma and Texas.

Southeast louisiana veterans healthcare system

Completed multiple projects at the SLVHCS. Provided Design/Build services which created a toggling ability between a normally recirculating system to 100% outside air (Pandemic mode). Replaced all hazardous HEPA filters. Tested and calibrated the analog and digital pressure sensors associated with the filters. Provided duct cleaning services for complete cleaning of all existing sheet metal and flex ductwork including ancillary equipment (grilles, registers, screens, etc.). Provided landscaping services for the entire campus. All projects were completed for a functioning VA hospital, working to avoid interference with current hospital operations and working within the prescribed time slots allotted to minimize any disruptions. The SLVHCS is 1,600,000 square feet.

LOMA LINDA VA HOSPITAL

Fire Sprinkler Head Cleaning. Removal of visual dust and grime. Touch up paint. Replacement of escutcheons. Replacement of inoperable or painted over heads. Provided cleaning and inspection of an estimated 4,500 diffusers, 1,500 return/exhaust grilles, cleaning of the ventilation ducts up to the transition or ninety. TAB services for isolation rooms.

Christwood retirement community

Audited, designed, engineered, and replaced all outdated lighting with new LEDs throughout the entire facility (approximately 100,000 square feet). Installed new outdoor pole lighting. Facilitated and administered energy incentives and tax credits. Facility includes community center, independent living (161 cottages and apartments), assisted living, skilled nursing, cognitive care, atrium gallery, and three restaurants. Phased approach to ensure all residents were aware and affected as little as possible.

riverboat louis armstrong

Assisted in renovating a riverboat casino into the largest entertainment riverboat in the region. The Louis Armstrong is 310 feet long, 70 feet wide, and 4 decks high. Gulf Geo assessed, specified, and designed the lighting on the boat’s three accessible decks. This included replacing the marquee lighting with accent color changing LEDs, stage lighting that can be synchronized with sound, and many other customized features. In addition, Gulf Geo assisted with an upgrade on its sister ship, the Creole Queen.

Port of new orleans

Audited 3 years of the Port of New Orleans’s utility bills. The objective was to determine if the rates were the lowest possible, if charges and fees were valid, and if reduction could be made through energy efficiency measures. Gulf Geo was able to identify over 2.3 million dollars in potential energy savings.
