Bruce hoffman, president

Bruce Hoffman became interested in environmental issues in the late 60’s, during his Geological studies. He was involved in the First Earth Day and has kept the same burning passion alive, by implementing energy efficiency guidelines and resources to reduce the burden energy places on our planet.

Early on, he recognized that some people are driven by the desire to keep our planet growing for future generations. While that’s a good goal, he came to realize that just about everyone in our country is also into another kind of green–saving money. After this realization, he began to steer his education and business in a direction for a greener planet and lower costs for everyone.

Gulf GeoExchange & Consulting Services Inc. is that realization fulfilled. Bruce strives to provide cost saving measures that improve bottom lines while having the upside of reducing stress on our environment (without having to be a tree hugger or Earth Day enthusiast). After 30 years of service, Bruce is happy to shout “It works!”

Bruce has experience in: facility management, hazardous environmental remediation, waste-to-energy plant design, geothermal installation, solar powered energy plant design, bioremediation waste reduction design and implementation, LED light conversion, mechanical system upgrade implementation.

Clare LEROUGE, director of operations

Clare Hoffman has been working in multiple areas of the energy efficiency sector for her entire career. She’s worked in different capacities for consulting, electrical, engineering, and investment firms with a focus on energy efficiency. This wide variety of experience has created a well rounded and versed individual. Clare oversees our Operations and has a knack for completing projects on time, if not early.

Clare’s career began in New York City, where she moved after college. She started working under her sister in an office administration position for an energy efficiency consulting firm. Here she quickly moved up, and started designing auditing tools. This helped her understand what the outside sales professionals were seeing and suggesting as replacements. Her passion for learning more energy efficiency took over, and she was promoted to a sales position in a few short months. From there, she blossomed and moved into multiple facets of the industry and continually strives to stay up to date with the latest and greatest technologies.

Clare is experienced in: marketing, procurement, project management, contract negotiations, rebate administration, energy auditing, and a multitude of other areas. She now handles the day to day operations of the firm and is happy to hollow in her father’s footsteps by providing a better environment with a sustainable future.
